Drive half an hour or so away from the towns in Greece and you will be rewarded with places full of pristine dark skies. A beach at Iria in Greece is one of them - a special place for me as this is the place I fell in love with astronomy and astrophotography. As light pollution is expanding rapidly in our planet, I felt the responsibility to return to this special place and shoot our home - the Milky Way galaxy.
