Supernova

I managed to photograph the supernova 2023ixf in M101 using a Takahashi FSQ85-EDP with an Astrodon L Filter on an ASI 1600. 8 x 180s guided on an EM-400 2M. Its light travelled 21 million light years to reach the sensor of my camera on a Saturday night at the end of May 2023 at 2AM (UK)! Date: 02:00 21-05-2023 (UK) The supernova was discovered 2023/05/19.727 by Koichi Itagaki.
